Calacatta marble is a white-coloured marble with darkish grey veins. Calacatta marble, together with Statuario is part of the top range of quality marble coming from the Carrara area. Calacatta marble shows a bolder veins pattern and much whiter background colour compared to Carrara or Arabescato marble.
Calacatta marble is mainly used in interior applications for flooring, covering walls and kitchen or vanity tops. It’s also often used for book matched applications which allows its beauty to stand out.
